November Update

We are happy to announce that all versions of the new Rattus EP, Kuningas, are now available. The 7" is available on standard black vinyl, a limited tour edition/test press of 100 copies, and a version on red and black swirl vinyl limited to 111. Each version comes on thick, high quality vinyl. All are available for purchase and wholesale in the store. Kuningas continues the Rattus tradition of crossover that mixes their brand of Finnish hardcore with a more metallic influence. Balancing itself between melody and full-on aggression, full of swirling riffs played with a sense of urgency, unique drumming and song structure, and pissed off Finnish vocals, Kuningas is the next chapter in the legend of Rattus that has been growing since 1978. This six-song EP which was released in conjunction with their 2012 West Coast US Tour should please those who have been listening to Rattus for years and those who are just discovering them.

We would also like to remind everyone about the Fetus Eaters - Manticore cassette. An album that truly fits the word "brutal," Manticore is a fever dream blend of experimental grindcore, thrash, and blackened hardcore, that utilizes shotgun blasts of bizarre electronic noize, disorienting micro-soundclips, psychadelic brass instruments, and more to create a sound beyond simple description that evokes bands like Agents of Satan or Benumb on whippits. Listening to the album is to experience a high speed pummeling of blastbeats, riffs tight enough to shrink any hesher's jeans, and headspinning aggression. Imagine yourself trapped in a running washing machine along with three sheets of acid and Satan himself and you might get an idea of what this album is like! It is available in a normal cassette version and 2 versions that comes with a huge fold out poster in 7" style packaging, and is limited to 300 copies
